Wedding Bookings Terms & Conditions

 

  1. A wedding booking will be considered confirmed once both the deposit has been paid and booking has been confirmed by both parties by email. A non-refundable deposit of £50 per vehicle will secure the vehicle/s on the agreed date. The balance must then be paid two months before the wedding. If full payment isn’t made by the agreed, this will be seen as a cancelled booking and non-refundable.
  1. An email confirmation will be sent as a receipt of any payments made.
  1. All payments are non-refundable, except in points 6 & 7.
  1. In the event of the Hirer changing the date of a confirmed booking, deposits will be lost and a new booking will be made.
  1. Whilst every effort is made to provide the vehicle and the driver booked we reserves the right to substitute vehicles in the event of an unforeseen mechanical failure or other circumstances beyond our control. Vehicles of a lesser hire charge will entitle the Hirer to a refund of the difference. Where a vehicle of a higher hire charge is substituted no extra will be charged to the Hirer.
  1. In the very rare event a mechanical failure/breakdown takes place on route to the ceremony, every possible effort will be made to secure alternative transport. In the extremely unlikely event of a delay leading to a missed ceremony, a full refund will be offered, including deposit.
  1. In the very rare event that we have to cancel, a full refund will be offered plus £100 for the inconvenience and towards another booking for yourself.
  1. All our vehicles and chauffeurs will be immaculately presented, our chauffeurs will wear suits. Cars will be decorated appropriately for your wedding/ceremony. Special requests can be considered, a small cost may be incurred.
  1. Please ensure that all passengers will be ready for departure at the agreed departure time. Eminence will not be held responsible if the wedding/ceremony is completely missed due to the time keeping of the wedding/ceremony party or guests.
  1. The price quoted is for a maximum of three hours and a maximum of 50 miles. If you need more time or miles than this, we can quote accordingly. In the rare event that a significant amount of extra time or mileage be required on the day an extra invoice will be raised, payable within 28 days
  1. Eminence will select the route(s) required based on local knowledge and/or satellite navigation. The drivers will use their judgement driving at a lawful, safe and sensible speed in relation to the road and weather conditions.
  1. Whilst every effort will be made to arrive at scheduled locations in good time, no responsibility can be taken for unforeseen road closures or for restrictions relating to vehicle access to any location or unforeseen physical delays on route to the ceremony or adverse weather conditions. We cannot be held responsible for late arrival or cancellation due to any other circumstances beyond our immediate control.
  1. The Hirer is responsible for any accidental or intentional damage caused to the vehicle(s) by themselves and/or their wedding guests. A minimum charge of £100 will be charged to cover the valet costs should damage be caused by any passenger through drink, food or illness.
  1. Smoking is prohibited in all vehicles.
  1. We are unlicensed so cannot provide alcohol, however you are welcome to provide your own.
  1. All items left in the vehicles are at the owners own risk and no responsibility will be taken for their loss or damage. Every effort will be made by our drivers to reunite any property found to the members of the Hirer’s party.
  1. All our vehicles are fitted with appropriate seat belts, which must be worn
  1. Eminence our happy to transfer passengers of all ages, but only when an appropriate child seat has been fitted by a parent or guardian. Children must use a suitable seat until they are either 135 cm in height or 12 years old. Our drivers will not be responsible for the fitting the child seats.
  1. All passengers are requested to make sure that all belongings are with them before vacating the vehicle(s). Valuables should not be left in the vehicle(s) during the ceremony. Every effort is made to ensure against damage to or loss of property of the Hirer or any member of the wedding party when either stationary or travelling in our vehicles. Every effort is made to ensure our vehicles are safe to travel in and free from any defect. Eminence cannot accept responsibility to any damage to property belonging to any member of the wedding party caused by any part of any vehicle or by any staff member, unless it can be proven we were knowingly negligent or reckless.
  1. Eminence may take photographs for their own promotional use, they may appear on our social media sites and website and by signing these conditions the Hirer has given Eminence permission to do so, we will own and retain copyright of any image taken but will happily share with anyone seeking a copy.
  1. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time.
  1. By completing the booking form and paying a deposit you will have been deemed to have agreed and accepted the above terms and conditions.

 

Chauffer Services Terms and Conditions

 

Day/Half day hire

 

  1. A booking will be considered confirmed once both the deposit has been paid and booking has been confirmed by both parties by email. A non-refundable deposit of 20% per booking will secure the vehicle/s on the agreed date. The balance will then be due on or before 7 days after the work is undertaken.
  1. A 10% discount will be given if full payment is made on or before 14 days before the booking date. This is non-refundable.
  1. Off Peak is defined as Monday to Friday 8am-10pm pick up time and excludes Bank holiday and Public holidays.
  1. An email confirmation will be sent as a receipt of any payments made.
  1. All payments are non-refundable, except in points 7 & 8.
  1. In the event of the Hirer changing the date of a confirmed booking, deposits and full payments will be lost and a new booking will be made.
  1. Whilst every effort is made to provide the vehicle and the driver booked we reserves the right to substitute vehicles in the event of an unforeseen mechanical failure or other circumstances beyond our control.   1. The price quoted will be for the time booked, however there is a fair play mileage maximum of 200 miles for a half day or 300 miles for a full day. If you need more time or miles than this, we can quote accordingly. In the rare event that any extra time or mileage be required on the day an extra invoice will be raised pro rata, payable within 7 days.
  1. Eminence will select the route(s) required based on local knowledge and/or satellite navigation. The drivers will use their judgement driving at a lawful, safe and sensible speed in relation to the road and weather conditions.
  1. Whilst every effort will be made to arrive at scheduled locations in good time, no responsibility can be taken for unforeseen road closures or for restrictions relating to vehicle access to any location or unforeseen physical delays on route to the ceremony or adverse weather conditions. A to B Journeys Terms and Conditions

 

  1. A booking will be considered confirmed once both the deposit has been paid and booking has been confirmed by both parties by email.   1. A 10% discount will be given if full payment is made on or before 14 days before the booking date. This is non-refundable.
  1. A 10% discount will be given if the face value of the booking is over £100
  1. A 20% discount will be given if the face value of the booking is over £200

  1. For your information, fees are worked out as £2 per mile Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm pick up time and £2.50 per mile outside of these hours and on Bank Holidays & Public Holidays.
  1. The minimum distance for an A to B journey is 25 miles.
  1. Pick up points that are over 10 miles away from our headquarters at TN40 1QZ will have a surcharge of £1 per mile for every mile over 10 miles from TN40 1QZ to your pick up location. For Example, Brighton to Gatwick is 28 miles so £56, but is 30 miles from TN40 1QZ so would incur a £20 surcharge (30-10) making the fare £76. Please do not worry about how the fares our worked out, let us just give you a price, we are sure we will be competitive.

Whilst every effort will be made to arrive at scheduled locations in good time, no responsibility can be taken for unforeseen road closures or for restrictions relating to vehicle access to any location or unforeseen physical delays on route or adverse weather conditions. We cannot be held responsible for late arrival or cancellation due to any other circumstances beyond our immediate control. Please note that for airport transfers, you will specify the pick-up time required from your location, therefore we cannot accept responsibilities for missed flights.
